Academa generates long-form STEM lecture videos using large language models. Lectures are written as code and compiled into video using computer graphics and text-to-speech synthesis, enabling rapid creation and maintenance of educational content.

Videos are stored as source code in repositories, allowing corrections and improvements through standard code edits rather than video re-production. This approach enables collaborative maintenance and version control of lecture content.
