Balk

Balk is a baseball game at balk.club. Its creator grew up playing games like MLB Showdown, which were fun to look at and scheme over but never fully captured the feeling of a game for them. The site argues that baseball lends itself well to game design, with many smaller games existing inside the sport.

The site describes baseball as a deeply flawed and broken sport, and suggests that this imperfection is part of its appeal. Its stated premise is simple: you already know the rules.
