Death Plan Switch

Death Plan Switch is a self-hosted dead man's switch for solo developers. It notifies the right people if the owner goes missing or dies, so the business can keep operating for its clients. It is intended as a succession plan for solo operators.

The project was started by Peter Bishop, who has worked in graphics and web technology for over 25 years. It was built after a 2012 hospitalisation, when he lost his business and could not get data to his technical second-in-command in time without disrupting clients.
