Gasfree

Gasfree is a synthesizer rack that runs in the browser, built with the Web Audio API. The project began years ago as a personal attempt to recreate the Moog Subharmonicon, a synth the creator wanted to try but could not afford at the time. The first version was incomplete, though building it reportedly helped curb the creator's gear acquisition urges.

The project was later revived when the creator asked Claude to finish it, adding the missing features and refining the design to look closer to the original hardware. The result is available at gasfree.app.
