GitPushups describes itself as a tool that blocks your code if you don't do pushups during your workday. It started as a hackathon project, and its creator says developers using it have logged about 40K pushups during their workday.
The creator reports that all features are now free, having previously been freemium during RevenueCat's Shipaton 2025, and that an Apple Watch app has been added. Details are in the site's October 2026 monthly press update.
