Ida

Ida is a native macOS voice assistant. Hold a shortcut, say what you want, then let go, and Ida completes it in the apps it is connected to. Before doing anything consequential, Ida shows what it is about to do and waits for your approval. It sits quietly at the top of your screen, built into the notch. Ida is free and publicly available for macOS 14 and later. Its developer, Francisco, describes it as an attempt to build what Siri promised about a decade ago.
