Independent Vet

Independent Vet is a directory for finding locally owned veterinary practices, as well as corporate-owned ones, near you. Its page title describes the purpose plainly: helping people find locally owned vets and corporate ones.

The site's metadata cites a trend of US veterinary practices being acquired by private-equity-backed corporate groups, particularly after COVID, and presents the directory as a way to tell the two kinds of practice apart. Other features and details are not specified in the public metadata.
