Project Wisteria by Negativeabsence is a conversation-focused desktop chatbot that operates using a bring-your-own-key (BYOK) model. The application is built to store user thoughts and conversation memories locally on the device.

It features a custom memory architecture designed to address weaknesses in LLM long-term memory. The system employs a memory compression mechanism operating through several levels of abstraction, specifically structured to help reduce hallucinations often caused by abstract memory compression.
