Ppgrid

Ppgrid is an open-source GIS tool designed for rapid raster interpolation of large-scale point datasets. It uses a modified Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) approach to process millions of rows in minutes rather than hours, addressing performance limitations in existing interpolation tools.

The library is built for users who regularly work with continent-scale spatial data and need to create visualizations without prohibitive processing times. Available as an open-source project.
