Pure Particles

Pure Particles is an open source art particle toy built with Three.js. Its creator, a designer from France named Romain, describes it as the first piece of a tool for making art with code. Drop any image onto the page and the particles take its colours.

You can record a clip of the result, and different images produce different outcomes. The project is free and open source, and the creator welcomes feedback.
