Rabin A is an MCP router for Claude Code, built after a benchmark of six MCP proxies run inside Claude Code on real tasks. The author found that many proxies advertised 85–99% token savings, but those figures assumed every tool schema was loaded upfront, which Claude Code already avoids.
In the same tests, four proxies used more tokens than no proxy at all, and two could not finish the tasks. Rabin A's router reduced token use by 13–44% and completed every task in the benchmark.
