Stoke Money is a personal finance app built around a cash flow forecast. Its launch post notes that many finance apps calculate cash flow as the net sum of a month's transactions, which can miss timing differences.

Credit card charges appear immediately, but they are often paid from checking accounts the following month when the bill is due. The founder, who previously used Personal Capital, Monarch, and Copilot, says none fully addressed this and had maintained a separate spreadsheet.
